A native Mainer with big city experience.
Kate Schmidt moved to New York City in 2002 shortly after earning her BA from Elmira College. It was in New York that she forged a successful career as a project manager serving the internationally renowned interior design firms of David Easton, Inc., David Kleinberg Design Associates, and Brian J. McCarthy, Inc. With 14 years of experience skillfully liaising from the top of the chain to the bottom, she can be trusted to see any project through to completion.
As a project manager, Kate coordinated and executed the completion of large-scale residential projects throughout Canada, the United States, Kenya, the Caribbean, Paris, and the UK. She has acquired precise time-management, organizational, communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills. Kate has worked with many prominent families; she is discrete, and trustworthy.
In 2016, Kate returned to Maine to establish a business in the state that she so dearly loves. Raised in Presque Isle, the heart of Aroostook County, her strong reputation is built on the promise of hard work and a positive attitude, characteristics engrained from her roots and maintained through her demanding and fulfilling years in New York City.
